1. Who we are
Velithra ("Velithra," "we," "us") operates the Service at velithra.ai. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you use Velithra.
2. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — email address, name, profile details from Google sign-in (if you choose that method), and authentication identifiers managed through our auth provider.
- Brand and content data — writing samples, Brand DNA profiles, generated posts, media library assets, schedules, and other content you create or upload in the Service.
- Connected social accounts — OAuth tokens and basic profile metadata for platforms you connect (such as X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram), used only to publish or analyze on your behalf.
- Usage and billing data — feature usage, subscription plan, payment status, and transaction records processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and logs needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
3. How we use information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Generate and schedule content conditioned on your Brand DNA
- Connect to third-party social platforms at your direction
- Process subscriptions, usage limits, and pay-per-request charges
- Send service-related communications (e.g. account or billing notices)
- Detect abuse, fraud, and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
4. AI and third-party processors
Velithra uses third-party AI and infrastructure providers to power generation, video rendering, clipping, and hosting. Depending on your settings, this may include providers such as Groq, Replicate, Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, and others. Your Brand DNA and prompts may be sent to these providers solely to deliver the features you request.
If you enable Bring Your Own Key, AI requests may be routed to your own provider using credentials you supply. You are responsible for that provider's terms and data handling.
5. Social platform connections
When you connect a social account, we store OAuth tokens so Velithra can post, read channel metadata, or upload media according to the permissions you grant. You can disconnect accounts at any time in Settings. Disconnecting revokes our ability to act on that platform going forward.
YouTube: If you connect YouTube, we store OAuth tokens to upload videos you create or approve in Velithra to your channel. We request the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload scope only for uploads you initiate (via the YouTube Data API videos.insert endpoint). We do not use this scope to read your private videos, comments, or analytics. You can disconnect YouTube in Settings or revoke access at Google Account permissions.
Google Sign-In: If you sign in with Google, we receive your email, name, and profile photo (scopes: openid, email, profile) solely to create and secure your Velithra account. This is separate from optional YouTube publishing.
6. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where applicable, we process personal data based on: performance of our contract with you, your consent (e.g. connecting social accounts), our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, and compliance with law.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal requirements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@velithra.ai. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
9. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure credential storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided us data.
11. International transfers
We and our processors may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice.
